Surf Tips from Paul Godette & Alistair Bramley

This month of June was packed with surf tips from repairing your own board to learning how to improve your paddling and multiply your wave count. Watch out for more exciting news and podcasts next month!

Here’s a quick recap of our podcast this June:

Check out the podcast videos below along with some of our favorite tips from our guest.

“If you find the foam is wet, don't surf the board anymore, try to let it dry out. Paper towels are really good. You just tape that to the board and whatever heat is on it, it draws the moisture out better because the moisture doesn't need to fully evaporate. It just gets sucked into the dry material.”

“Paddle fitness is of utmost importance. The paddle trainer, a lot of us understand that this is something that has been needed for a long time.”

- Paul Godette

“You've just got to have the confidence that you're going to be able to get into the wave quickly enough to be able to get through that first section. Being able to get into the good waves, you have a better ride. So your whole sort of joy factor is going up.”

“What I realized with paddling as well, it's not just your shoulders and your pecs and your lats and all that sort of jazz. It's actually training your lower back to be able to hold yourself, hold your chest. ”

- Alistair Bramley
